Cosmerge — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Cosmerge mobile game ("the App", "we") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information (optional): if you create an account, we collect your email address, a password (stored in hashed form), and your chosen nickname. Playing as a guest requires no personal information; guests are identified by a randomly generated name.
- Gameplay data: scores, game statistics, unlocked content, friend connections, and duel results, linked to your account or guest profile.
- Advertising data: our advertising partner Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, and coarse device information to serve and measure ads. Where required by law (e.g. the EU/EEA and UK), ads are only personalized with your consent, collected through Google's consent dialog shown in the App. You may decline — the App works fully with non-personalized ads.
- Diagnostics: anonymous, aggregated technical logs used to keep the service reliable.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate online features: accounts, leaderboards, friends, and duels.
- To send account emails (e.g. verification codes).
- To show ads that fund the free game.
- To prevent cheating and abuse (e.g. score validation).
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Where Your Data Lives

4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time inside the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Deletion removes your account, profile, scores, and friend connections from our servers and cannot be undone. You may also request deletion by email (below).
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time (ad consent can be changed via the consent dialog, and personalized-ad settings are also controllable in your device settings). 6. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above and, where appropriate, announced in the App.
